Bryson and I had our one year anniversary today, and to celebrate he came up with a bunch of different things to do all day and surprised me with each of them throughout the day as we went!
To start off with, we headed out to Big Woods Lake and enjoyed the beautiful weather, walked around the lake for a bit and got to sit and talk.
Then it was lunch at Newton’s Paradise Cafe! (The hidden gem of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area and one of our favorite restaurants).
Next we headed out to Palmer’s to hit up the batting cages (I had mentioned to him a few weeks ago that I really wanted to and he remembered), followed by a trip to PetSmart to see a baby guinea pig.
Then we headed back to Cedar Falls just in time to go see The Great Gatsby in 3D. We were the only ones in the whole theater and the ending made me cry like a baby. Oh Leo D..
By the time the movie got out, we were pretty hungry again, so after a quick pitstop by my apartment we traveled to Tony’s La Pizzeria on Main. (We had tried to go to there for our 3 month anniversary/my bday but they were too busy and we’d never been back since!)
Once we were sufficiently stuffed (again), we went back to Bryson’s apartment and watched The Silver Linings Playbook. If you haven’t seen it yet, DO IT. So good. Then he dropped me back off at my apartment and that was that!
My boyfriend is so thoughtful and I love him so much. :) This past year has been amazing and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
Sooo I didn’t make the cut to be a Sonshine photographer this time.
I’m kind of taking it personal.
My feelings are sorta hurt.
I might have already cried about it.
I’m a wuss, I know.
